Sea Otter Day 1: Oddities and Oddballs

The first day of the 2014 Sea Otter Classic was filled with wonder and excitement beyond our wildest dreams. I can only liken it the awe that Charlie must have felt the first time he set foot into Willy Wonka’s fudge dungeon chocolate factory. Except apparently they let anyone roam around these things, including dorks the raddest dudes alive, wearing matching green shirts. As we made our preliminary rounds, we saw just as many goof balls and bizarre oddities as we did new bike parts. Although, that is to be expected in this industry and that’s all part of the allure of this event. Sea Otter 2014 has brought cyclists together of all shapes and sizes to enjoy our favorite pastime. Let me share with you a few of our favorites.

Although Day 2 of Sea Otter isn’t quite as sunny, we’ll still be bringing you some top notch coverage of the latest gear. Stay tuned and check out our instagram and twitter feeds!
