Do You Want to Ride Like a Pro? – Part VI: Riding In Traffic

Independence day has come and gone and we hope you had a great one! Part of our American identity is to look out for, and get along with one another. The summer season brings more people out of the woodwork, which means that roads will be bustling with travelers from day to day. Cycling is a great way to enjoy the outdoors this summer, so naturally, it is important to think about safety. Things can happen at any time on the road and the smallest mistake can change someone’s life.

In this installment of Rules of the Road: Riding in Traffic, learn how we, as cyclists can increase our safety among automobiles through the use of hand signals and predictable behavior. Friday is here; so don’t forget to use these signals on your weekend ride.
