Review: Vittoria Barzo 29″ Tire

After 25 years of making only mountain bike tires, the Geax brand is officially done and all of its product line has been brought under the Vittoria umbrella. In order to continue growing the mountain biking side of things, Vittoria is offering three new mountain tires for 2015: the Jafaki, the Peyote, and the Barzo. The Barzo fits somewhere between an XC tire and a trail/enduro tire, designed to be reasonably lightweight without having a flimsy casing or unaggressive tread. Vittoria calls it a tire for “technical XC terrain” and I’d wholeheartedly agree.
