Do You Want to Ride Like a Pro? – Part V: Descending

It doesn’t matter how high your VO2 max is, or how many watts you can crank out on your local climb if your descending skills are so poor that you are losing your gains on the descent, or crashing out. If you want to descend like the pros, using proper descending technique will go a long way towards achieving that goal.

To that end, we’ve put together a short instructional video reviewing the fundamentals of road bike descending. A nice set of tires and a fresh pair of brake pads will help too.
