Art’s got a sneak peak at e*thirteen’s newest XX1 style chainrings, called DWT, that are in development for their TRSr cranksets. The new rings hold the promise of doing away with chain guides on trail bikes. Given our very positive experience with Sram’s XX1 rings, we are really looking forward to giving these new rings a try. The spider-less design will likely produce a lighter ring with lower rotational weight than those offered by Sram.
Now updated with pictures from Sea Otter.
