Video | Brian Lopes on His Move to Intense Cycles

Brian Lopes is one of the rare riders who excels in the discipline of ‘anything with two wheels and a pair of cranks.’ Multi-talented doesn’t even begin to describe his ability on a bike. The winningest male mountain biker of all time, Lopes may have put his World Cup career behind him, but he’s still a force to be reckoned with—as proven by his win at this year’s Sea Otter Classic Pro Downhill.

We caught up with him a few days before his win to get his thoughts on the move to Intense Cycles, although it appears to be going great for him already.

About the Author

Rouse may have been a bit late to the bike-riding party, but he’s certainly making up for lost miles. Having discovered cycling while studying journalism at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, he enjoys long days in the saddle whenever—and however—he can get them. You can usually find him on two wheels, but if not, you’d be well served to check the nearest coffee shop.
