On a quiet Wednesday, just as we were tamping our first on-the-clock espresso shots, who should appear out of the early morning fog but Olivier Bossard and the crew from BOS Suspension. Turns out the boys were on their way up to Monterey to attend the 2014 Sea Otter and graciously stopped in to show us their new BOS Dizzy 29″ XC fork.
When we first heard rumors of the new cartridge-equipped cross-country fork, our initial reaction was one of apprehension. Would this fork sacrifice the famed BOS plushness and consistency to save weight for the XC racers?
The short answer is no, the Dizzy feels like a BOS. Just as supple as their long travel forks, with the signature BOS mid-stroke support preventing the “ramp-up” feeling for access to all of the forks travel, the Dizzy makes other XC forks feel limited and primitive. Pre-order yours here.
